Superb customer service the mark of a good company
In my job we always say a company will promise you the earth to get you to buy, but what are they like when it goes wrong? That is the real test of how good a company is, or not.
In July 2002 purchased a Hypervolt home charger, installed by an approved installer, and took the extra warranty so I was covered for 5 years. Normally I don't purchase these, but with 2 EV's a working charger is critical. Life was good and the charger did exactly what I needed it to do often delivering around a 1000kWh of power a month in all weathers.
Mid April 2024, without warning, it stopped working as expected and delivered only a fifth of the expected power to charge the EV's. Big issue as now having to use expensive public chargers! Got in touch with Hypervolt, and they tried to remotely access the charger with no success. Then they invoked the terms of the warranty, and 5 working days later I'm back up and charging! Brilliant customer service.
